Clearwater Realtor® Wins FAR’s 2004 Realtor Achievement Award
ORLANDO, Fla., September 2004 -- Clearwater Realtor® Sue Flaig was recently recognized for winning Florida’s 2004 Realtor Achievement Award by the 110,000-plus-member Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR). The award was presented at FAR’s 88th annual Convention & Trade Expo in Orlando.
Flaig is a member of the Pinellas Suncoast Association of Realtors. She has served the local, state and national Realtor associations in many different capacities. She has been president of the local association and served on numerous committees. In addition, she also has served as chairman of FAR’s Strategic Planning Committee and on a number of committees for the state association.
Consider just some of her achievements: She served as the 2003 national president of the Women's Council of Realtors and logged 80,000 miles on behalf of the Realtor organization in 2003; she chairs the Financial Counseling Committee for her community hospital and has raised $30 million for that cause, as well as helping to raising $50 million for rebuilding efforts. She volunteers to help entertain patients at the local hospital and serves on her community's Historical Preservation Board.
The Realtor Achievement Award honors one Realtor serving in the capacity of manager, broker of record or officer of their company. The honor covers the previous year’s contributions to the community, local, state and national Realtor organizations.
For her contributions to the real estate profession and the community, Sue Flaig has been honored with one of FAR’s top awards.
The Florida Association of Realtors (FAR), the voice for real estate in Florida, provides programs, services, continuing education, research and legislative representation to its more than 110,000 members in 70 boards/associations.
