Florida Realtors® Name Senator Bill Posey As 2005 Legislator of Year

ORLANDO, Fla., October 2005 -- The Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), has named Senator Bill Posey (R-Rockledge), as its 2005 Legislator of the Year in the Florida Senate. 

2005 FAR President Frank Kowalski said, "FAR recognizes Senator Posey’s leadership in preserving and adequately funding the state’s affordable housing trust funds during the 2005 legislative session. He is a firm supporter of private property rights and is very aware of the issues that affect Realtors and the business community." 

Posey serves as chairman of the Senate Ethics and Elections Committee. He also is a Florida Realtor.
