Florida Realtor Magazine Wins Awards
FAR’s Publication Recognized for Writing Excellence

ORLANDO, Fla., September 2003 -- Florida Realtor, the Business Magazine of Florida Real Estate and the monthly trade publication of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), recently won several editorial awards during the 2003 Florida Magazine Association Charlie Awards competition.

Florida Realtor won two Silver Awards for Writing Excellence in the Trade/Technical Magazines category: one for Best Department for its new feature, “A Change Will Do You Good,” and one for Best Column for “Technology & You. ”

“Our goal is to publish a magazine that is relevant to Florida Realtors and provides valuable information that our members can use to enhance their business and help them work more efficiently and effectively,” says Diana Cronkhite, chairman of FAR’s Communications Committee for 2003 and a Broward County Realtor.

The Florida Magazine Association is the professional organization for the state’s publishing industry and represents more than 220 magazines in Florida. Awards were presented Aug. 23 in Sarasota.

The Florida Association of Realtors, the voice for real estate in Florida, provides programs, services, continuing education, research and legislative representation to its 90,000 members in 70 boards/associations.
