Palm Coast Realtor® Installed As District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., January 2009 – Honora Giumenta, broker/owner and instructor, Exit Realty First Choice in Palm Coast, has been installed as District 1 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association.

Giumenta will serve her fellow professionals in District 1, which encompasses Flagler, Putnam, Alachua, St. Johns, Clay, Bradford, Union, Baker, Hamilton, Suwannee, Columbia, Duval and Nassau counties. She’s a member of the Flagler County Association of Realtors, St. Augustine and St. Johns County Board of Realtors and the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors.

Active in her residential brokerage and in training, Giumenta was the 2007 president of the Flagler County Association of Realtors and was a director for the organization in 1996-97, 2005 and in 2008. She’s been a member of numerous committees, and in 2008 chaired the first year of the group’s Leadership Development Program.

Giumenta was the local chapter president for the Flagler Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) in 2004-05, has served on all of its committees and was WCR State Governor in 2008. She has served on numerous committees for the state association, and was a FAR director from 2006-08. She also has been one of the leaders for the Florida chapter Women’s Council of Realtors and belongs to the National Women’s Council of Realtors’ governing board. In the community, Giumenta works with Flagler County’s Habitat for Humanity and is a director of the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce.

As a FAR district vice president, Giumenta says she will “share with our members the benefits offered by the Florida Association of Realtors and how these tools can help them grow their business.

“My leadership and experience with the Women’s Council of Realtors has taught me the importance of building relationships,” she adds. “As Realtors, we learn from each other. We need to support and motivate each other every day. Successful Realtors have goals and have created a plan to reach them. This is a wonderful time for all of us to build our real estate career!”
