Tampa Realtor® Is FAR’s 2005 Associate Realtor of the Year

Tampa Realtor Mary McCall is the Florida Association of Realtors’ 2005 Realtor Associate of the Year.

ORLANDO, Fla., September 2005 -- Tampa Realtor® Mary McCall was recently named Florida's 2005 Associate Realtor of the Year by the more than 130,000-member Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR). The award was presented at FAR’s recent 89th annual Convention & Trade Expo in Lake Buena Vista. 

FAR has presented a Realtor of the Year and an Associate Realtor of the Year award for 50 years. Winners are honored for their great individual lifetime contributions to their local board, community, FAR and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). 

A member and past president of the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors, McCall has a long history of involvement with various civic, community and social service groups, as well as service to her local Realtor association and to FAR. Here's a partial list of the many community groups she has helped: the Forest Hills Pony Baseball League, Habitat for Humanity, Children's Miracle Network, the Tampa Carrollwood Rotary Club, the University of South Florida Alumni Association, the PTA and her local church. She also has been a caregiver to the elderly. 

McCall served as president of the Florida Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists in 2003. A Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) Sterling "R" Club member, she has chaired and served on numerous committees for both the local, national and state Realtor associations, including as the 2004 chairman of FAR's Communications Committee and as District 6 Vice President in 2002.

The Florida Association of Realtors, the voice for real estate in Florida, provides programs, services, continuing education, research and legislative representation for more than 130,000 members in 68 local boards/associations.
