Orlando Realtor® Elected District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, FL — Lydia Pisano, Realtor® with Keller Williams in Orlando, has been elected District 12 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Orlando Regional Realtor® Association, Pisano will serve her fellow professionals in District 12, which encompasses Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties.

“Affordability is a growing problem in our region,” she says. “However, the inventory of homes is beginning to grow, which may signal a leveling off of price increases.”

Active in residential brokerage, Pisano was president of the Orlando Regional Realtor Association (ORRA) for 2004-2005. In 2001, she was ORRA's “Realtor® of the Year” and is a three-time winner of its President’s Award. Pisano received a Charley Award -- the top honor -- from the Florida Magazine Association in 2005 for her "My Word" column on current real estate issues published in the ORRA magazine. She also is a FAR director and a member of Women’s Council of Realtors®.

Pisano brings extensive leadership and training experience to her role as FAR district vice president. “I enjoy coaching and teaching, including helping agents with their business skills and enhancing their productivity,” she says.

As a FAR vice president, Pisano will focus on Realtor® education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region. As real estate professionals, Realtors® seek to improve the availability and affordability of housing, while helping people from all walks of life achieve the American dream.

The Florida Association of Realtors®, the voice for real estate in Florida, provides programs, services, ongoing education, research and legislative representation to its more than 155,000 members in 68 local boards/associations throughout the state.
