Lauderdale Realtor® Elected District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, FL — Larry Rowe, owner/president, Larry Rowe, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, has been elected District 11 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Realtor® Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Rowe will serve his fellow professionals in District 11, which encompasses Broward County.

“Everyone wants to come to South Florida to retire or enjoy a second home,” he says. “At the same time, developers have been very active in building new condominiums. It will be interesting to watch the market as these residences are completed. The level of demand for these units will have a major impact on the overall marketplace.”

Active in residential brokerage, Rowe is a former president of the Greater Fort Lauderdale association, and is a FAR director. He is a life member of Navy League and Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge, a member of Rotary International, a past president of the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale South, a former president of The Ohio State Alumni of Broward County and past chairman of the City of Fort Lauderdale Cemeteries Board for four years.

Rowe brings extensive leadership experience to his role as FAR district vice president. “My strength is communication, and I believe that’s what our business is all about,” he says.

As a FAR vice president, Rowe will focus on Realtor® education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region. As real estate professionals, Realtors® seek to improve the availability and affordability of housing, while helping people from all walks of life achieve the American dream.
