Naples Realtor® Installed as District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association
ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 4, 2008 – Spencer E. Haynes, broker-manager, John R. Wood, Inc. Realtors in Naples, has been installed as District 5 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Naples Area Board of Realtors and Association of Real Estate Professionals, Inc., Haynes will serve his fellow professionals in District 5, which encompasses Lee, Collier and Hendry counties.
“Affordability will always be an issue in the state’s housing market, but moderately priced home are more available today than in the recent past,” he says. “Property taxes, insurance and other related ownership expenses have become more important in the cost equation.”
Haynes served as 2007 president of the Naples board and has been a member of the FAR board for many years. He was also a director of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). In the community, Haynes is a member of the Naples North Rotary Club, champions Habitat for Humanity and works with numerous charitable organizations.
Haynes brings extensive industry experience to his role as FAR district vice president. “Now is a great time to be a Realtor,” he says. “In a challenging market, the worth of a great Realtor becomes even more apparent to sellers and buyers.”
As a FAR vice president, Haynes will focus on Realtor® education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region.
