Stuart Realtor® Installed as District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association
ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 4, 2008 – Maria S. Wells, broker-owner, Lifestyle Realty Group in Stuart, has been installed as District 3 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Realtor® Association of Martin County, Wells will serve her fellow professionals in District 3, which encompasses Martin, Okeechobee, Glades, Palm Beach, Indian River and St. Lucie counties.
“Property taxes, homeowners insurance and a large inventory of homes are among the largest challenges facing our district,” says Wells.
Active in residential brokerage and a specialist in senior real estate, Wells served as 2005 president of the Martin County association. She is also vice president of the Realtor Association of St. Lucie County and a former member of the FAR board. A graduate of Leadership Martin County, Wells is sponsor chair for the Library Foundation Pearls of Wisdom Hall and sponsor of the Alzheimer’s Association Walk-a-Thon. She is also a member of the Martin County Chamber of Commerce.
Wells brings extensive experience to her role as FAR district vice president. “Working together and sharing insightful information, resources and encouragement will make us prosper in the coming year,” she says. “We all need to embrace change.”
As a FAR vice president, Wells will focus on Realtor education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region. As real estate professionals, Realtors seek to improve the availability and affordability of housing, while helping people from all walks of life achieve the American dream.
