Lake City Realtor® Installed as District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association
ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 4, 2008 – Jeff T. Taylor, broker-associate, Century 21 Jackie Taylor & Associates in Lake City, has been installed as District 1 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Lake City Board of Realtors®, Taylor will serve his fellow professionals in District 1, which encompasses Flagler, Putnam, Alachua, St. Johns, Clay, Bradford, Union, Baker, Hamilton, Suwannee, Columbia, Duval and Nassau counties.
“Property taxes, insurance availability and cost, and real estate affordability are at the forefront of the challenges we face in our district,” he says.
Active in residential brokerage, property management, and land sales, Taylor served as 2007 president of the Lake City board and has been a FAR director since 2005. He is also a past member of the Lake City Chamber of Commerce.
Taylor brings extensive industry experience to his role as FAR district vice president. “I encourage Realtors to go back to the basics and take advantage of the many education opportunities provided by their local real estate associations.”
As a FAR vice president, Taylor will focus on Realtor education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region. As real estate professionals, Realtors seek to improve the availability and affordability of housing, while helping people from all walks of life achieve the American dream.
