Winter Park Realtor® Installed as District Vice President of Florida’s Largest Professional Association

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 4, 2008 – Randolph Martin, broker-associate, RE/MAX 200 Realty in Winter Park, has been installed as District 12 vice president of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), the state’s largest professional association. A member of the Orlando Regional Realtor Association, Martin will serve his fellow professionals in District 12, which encompasses Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties.

“This current housing market will not last,” he says. “Homebuyers need to act now to take advantage of the large selection of inventory and great mortgage rates before the market shifts toward a sellers’ market.”

Active in residential brokerage, including new home sales, pre-foreclosures, acreage, and investment properties, Martin has been an active member of the Orlando association for more than a decade. He is also serves as a member of the FAR Leadership Forum and as a director of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). In the community, Martin is a contributor to the Children’s Miracle Network and a member of several fraternal organizations.

Martin brings extensive industry experience to his role as FAR district vice president. “Realtors need to become knowledgeable on taxes, homeowner’s insurance, school rankings, and anything else affecting home ownership,” he says. “They should also take advantage of FAR’s marketing, education, and electronic transaction tools.”

As a FAR vice president, Martin will focus on Realtor education, training and involvement in vital housing-related issues in the region. As real estate professionals, Realtors seek to improve the availability and affordability of housing, while helping people from all walks of life achieve the American dream.
